Harris Outdoor Adventure offers the Sea kayak and Canoe fanatics the following:
Day courses for beginners and guided tours around the Isle of Harris.

Day course sea-kayaking or canoeing for beginners:
This course offers a simple introduction for inexperienced or paddlers that have not been near the water for some time. It is an excellent course for those who plan to spend some afternoons exploring the local coastlines with friends or family in the near future. HOA will bring your self rescue and paddling skills up to date in a safe and enjoyable environment.

Guided sea-kayaking or canoeing tours:
Head out on a guided extended trip to one of the many islands that surround the Isle of Harris and overnight expeditions are an excellent way to enjoy the water, vistas and adventures the Outer Hebrides has to offer.
Beginning with an introduction to the sport of kayaking and the gear needed to safely enjoy it, our guided tours are excellent for beginner, intermediate and experienced paddlers alike. Depending the wind and tide we’ll choose from some great locations, each very different and yet just as beautiful.
We recommend you wear warm waterproof clothing and footwear. For the full day tuition or tour, please bring your own lunch. Participants must be over 8 years old to go kayaking.

Event time and Costs:
including kayak, paddle, helmet, buoyancy aid and private instruction/guide.
Half day; 9-12 am, 1-4 pm and 6-9 pm £40 per person (min 2)
Full day; 10 am to 4pm £75 per person (min 2)

Kayak Canoe Hire (For Experienced Kayakers only) Kayak, paddle, helmet, buoyancy aid, maps and dry-bag;
Half Day or evening £ 30 Full day 9.00-16.00hrs £ 50
