Harris Outdoor Adventure

(HOA) can offer you the chance to experience the thrill of X-sailing. Within 30 minutes you will bare the legendary "X-sailing Grin" that so many have worn no matter if you are 8 - 98 years old.
If you have a couple of friends then get them together and come and have a go, most of our groups are between 1-4 people and together you will share the thrill and adrenalin of X-sailing.

What Our Sessions Include:

Your session will start with a safety briefing followed by; how to steer, understand the sail and wind force so you can get yourself moving forward. Then it's into your X-sail at the beach under full instruction until you feel confident to move on your own.
HOA is located at Leverburgh Pier, toilets on site for your convenience and Tea and Coffee will be available.

Costs For Packages, Taster Sessions, Lessons & Hire

Taster Sessions;
30 minute session £15 per person, min of 2 people.
Lessons
1 hour session £30 per person
2 hour session £55 per person
Half Day Session £70 per person
X-sail & Equipment Hire (Experienced X-sailers)
1 hour Hire £30 per person
2½ hour Hire £40 per person
Half Day Hire £50 per person
All of the above prices include the use of an X-Sail and safety Helmet.
Additional Useful Information: We recommend you wear warm waterproof clothing and footwear. Participants must be over 8 years old to sail a X-sail and be accompanied by an adult.
HOA is the only Hebridean based X-sail Activity provider offering training and hire.
